SERVER STATUS AND INFORMATION SCRIPT:

Minimum system specs:

Windows 9x/XP/NT/2k/2k3
Pagefile enabled (only works in XP/NT/2k/2k3 and is only needed for uptime function)
PHP/HTTP
ASP, Perl and MySQL are required if you want to see their status as online. If you don't have ASP or Perl, delete the 4 ASP and Perl files (normal and simple status). If you dont the script will ask you to download each file.

Installation information:

##NEEDED OPTIONS##

1. Simply unzip the contents of this zip file into a suitable folder on your server.
2. Start CPUUsage.exe and configure it to put the file 'cpu.txt' in c:\.
3. To install Motherboard Sensors Monitor for the temperatures function look at the MBM.txt file.
4. Create a username for mysql called 'checker' and password as 'checker' with phpMyAdmin. You can modify these as required in the mysql_check.php file.
5. Direct your browser to the location of the status script and see your stats.



##EXTRA OPTIONS##

1. If needed, edit the config.php file to suit your needs.
2. Edit the service_status.php file to change the status of the services.
3. Embed the simple_status.php file to your homepage for a quick status of the services, rather than waiting for the full status script to load.

Any files that you find that you do not recognise are probably files I have been working on. Feel free to look at its progress and develop it for your own use.

If you change any of the variables, for example SLOT0total, use notepad and use the replace function. Do this for both index.php and config.php. Don't call it any name or word that is in use on the page or it will change that too. I recommend giving it a unique ID number that way it wont affect other words on the page.

NOTE: Some variables are best left unchanged so unless you want a lot of code re-writing it would be best to leave them how they are and just label them with comments. I had a lot of problems changing mine so I'd seriously leave them!
