Vacation 2012  Here we go.
Well, The day we've been waiting for has finally come. We are packed , ready to roll. The weather looks great to travel and we are expecting a good travel day. We expect little weather affects from tropical storm Isaac, We should pass each other somewhere in Tenn, and be about 200 miles apart. Maybe a little rain for a day, but that is about it.

  And this brings up another thought....

     As I sit here typing this, I can't help to wonder why. Why are we even doing this? Sure it is to see some people we havn't seen for a long time, or ever for that matter, and sure, it is to get away from the hum drum life we have made for ourselves. But really, Why do you plan all year, scimp and save for it, look toward doing it with shear anticipation all year long, To just pack a bike, and travel thousands of miles in two weeks only to return home and start again... Is it the lore of the road? maybe it's the idea of getting away to new territory. Could it be the fact that we are trying to fit into our life everything possible before we can't anymore?

I dunno, What ever it is, We are jumping in with both feet, leaving the comfort of our home, friends, and family, and just pulling out all the stops... Here we go !!!!!!!
