p>Julia W. Wright, daughter of Albert Wright and Julia Ann Barry, married Timothy Heald Bisbee in Wasco County, Oregon on 5 November 1883. Together they raised four children. Timothy died at age 63 at home on Sunday, June 29th, 1902. Some five months afterward, Julia wrote a letter to her cousin, Mary Sebert, in which she spoke of her husband's death.

They had gone to Church that Sunday morning. Sunday evening, Timothy asked if she was going to Church with him. Being tired, Julia decided to stay home and he went without her. Timothy came home around 10 o'clock. When he had not come to bed by 10:30, Julia asked her son Louis to check on him. Louis found him in the outhouse where he had died.

You will note from the letter that the Bisbee family had both electricity and telephone in the house.
